I came to physical therapy during one of the most painful and uncertain times in my life—physically and emotionally. It was the dead of winter, and I was struggling with severe chronic pain that left me feeling depleted, scared, and overwhelmed. And then I met Karen—and everything began to change. Karen wasn’t just my physical therapist; she was like an angel. With her bright, infectious smile and positivity, she brought so much light to our sessions. She treated me with compassion, patience, and genuine care. She saw me as a whole person, not just a condition to treat. Every session with her was more than just therapy—it was healing on every level. Karen consistently went above and beyond, showing up with heart, encouragement, and an incredible gift for making people feel safe and seen. I will always remember her and the way she helped carry me through such a difficult time. She is truly one of a kind, and she deserves to be recognized for the extraordinary care she gives. I also want to acknowledge the other therapists and staff at the practice—every interaction I had was met with warmth, professionalism, and a true sense of community. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking not just for treatment, but for support, understanding, and genuine human kindness :)

Amazing Facility and Staff… The exercises are diverse, therapeutic and challenging, everything is explained thoroughly, and there's a clear path toward full recovery. If you're looking to recover from a sports injury, you won't find a more talented and friendly team.

Ironbound Physical Therapy is the real deal. I came in after breaking my leg, and the level of professionalism, care, and expertise from the entire team was unbelievable. They built a plan that actually made sense for my goals, pushed me the right amount, and got me back on the wrestling and BJJ mats way faster than I expected. Every session felt intentional and personalized. If you’re serious about recovering the right way, this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about this physical therapy spot. I had a multi-ligament knee surgery, and they were with me every step of the way from PT before my operation all the way through recovery after. The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly, and they make you feel genuinely supported. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, nothing like the typical cold, boring doctor’s office. Every session feels like you’re walking into a place that cares about you, not just your injury. I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done for me and highly recommend them to anyone needing PT. 100% recommended 👍

Ironbound PT is hands down the best physical therapy clinic in Newark! Everyone there is so sweet, caring, and genuinely dedicated to helping you reach your goals. From Dr. Karen to Dr. Alex and the amazing front desk staff, they always go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and supported. No matter what your injury or setback is, they’ll always find a way to help you get better. Their positivity and encouragement made such a huge difference in my recovery ,without them, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to play professionally. I’m forever grateful for their support and couldn’t recommend them more. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about you as a person, not just a patient

I was treated by Dr. Karen for my lower back, walked in i could barely walk to do an injury while working out. She made me super comfortable and hopeful that i would walk out feeling a lot better. After a couple days of treatment and following her advice and homework exercises i was able to go back to the gym and workout. Highly recommend
